All us single ladies have imagined meeting Mr Right on just an ordinary day - perhaps you lock eyes with a handsome stranger on the tube as he catches you reading the paper over his shoulder, then "accidentally" bump into him as the bus comes to an abrupt stop.

According to a new study, if it's true love you're after, sit down, log on and get yourself signed up for online dating.
Researchers asked 20,000 participants who were married between 2005 and 2012 a series of questions about their happiness and found that those who had met through dating sites, chat rooms or social networking (and were still together) were happier.
Reasons for this significant difference could be down to the fact that those of us who've signed up for online dating are, well, looking for love and so there is a higher motivation to find it - pretty self-explanatory really.
