Beyonce's Father Owing Taxes.. Might Go To Prison
The Good News: Beyonce’s dad, Mathew Knowles, raked in BOATLOADS of cash during the years he managed B’s career … we’re talkin’ millions.
The Bad News: The IRS says he still owes all sorts of taxes on some of that income — over $1.2 MILLION.
Uncle Sam just filed a ridiculously large lien against Knowles, claiming he needs to cough up some cash from the years 2010 ($485,575.95) and 2011 ($728,004.89) … all totaled, $1,213,580.84.
It’s no wonder the bill is so high … Beyonce is arguably one of the highest grossing musical talents OF ALL TIME — and during the years 2010 and part of 2011 MK was still managing her career. Not to mention his slew of other projects, including his own record label.

Help:I Found Out My Wife Is Having An Affair With A Family Friend
I don't even know where to start. Sorrow, depression, dejection, resignation etc, all now knows me by name. The love is dead, I loath her for the betrayal, sex is dead, joy gone. It's been 8 months since I made the startling discovery, I have tried to live like It didn't happen but that didn't work. I have tried to brace it like a man and move past it, that too didn't work. We have had several talks about it hoping it will heal my wound but it ain't working too. I have lost my strength to move on, my drive for success and happiness is dead. I roam aimlessly now most times not having a clear vision cos my mind is messed up. Several times I narrowly escaped ramming into a car ahead of me. I look at women now with disdain (my apologies) and infidelity boldly carved on their foreheads. What got me all messed up like this? I found out my wife was having an affair with her senior colleague in the office who also doubles as a family friend. How did I get to know, I stumbled into an amorous email exchange between them when I wanted to help her apply for a job which has a better prospect than where she was then. It was the subject of the mail that excited my curiosity. The subject says "Ifemi" which in Yoruba means "My Love". What is more disturbing is that they were having unprotected sex while my baby was still bosom feeding (no wonder my smart girl stopped suckling at 5 months). Our marriage will be 4 years in a couple of months time and is blessed with an adorable daughter. They both claimed it was a mistake. While I am battling to believe them, it will be of interest to note that, they didn't go to bed just once which nullifies the claim of it being a mistake. And it will be foolhardy for anyone to believe that. One cannot make a mistake twice. The second time usually is a choice that is dully premeditated.
I am barely sticking what is left of the marriage just because of my little girl. She will be 2 in no distant time. Separation and divorce is my only option now since every other option has left me worse off. I have lost so much weight in these few months. I also want to state here that I have never cheated on my wife before. I keep asking myself what will push me to cheat because sincerely, my wife has it all; beauty and brains. Like the few people both male and female will say when they see her picture either on my phone or ipad "Guy, you carry eye enter wife market".
One question I want answers to now is: our court marriage did not happen here in Lagos, can I file for dissolution of the union here in Lagos?
Linda Ikeji Apologizes To Covenant University Students Over Incorrect Blogpost
The popular blogger has been accused of thriving on rumours and half truths in the past.
Nigeria’s most famous blogger, Linda Ikeji, drew the anger of Covenant University students, Wednesday, after she posted a blog that appeared factually incorrect about their mate.
Linda incurred the rage after she posted a story about the death – suicide – of a Covenant University student, Ndubuisi Brown.
Linda had in a post, said Brown committed suicide. Apparently, Brown drowned in a Lagos beach.
She has since apologized.
“Covenant University Students, I apologize. Your friend died, he didn’t commit suicide. But thanks for making me trend. It’s been a while,” she tweeted.
But her apology was seemingly not enough to calm the incensed students who took to Twitter and trended #Lindalies and #Lindalied on Wednesday.
Using those hashtags, the students attributed all manner of outrageous and barefaced lies to the blogger in mock headlines.
“Stephen Keshi has been tipped to become the next manager of Man
U after Ferguson’s retirement,” @Bjorn_LJ said in the tweet-rant that equally got the incensed students excited about their ability to use social media tools to fight a cause.
The post on Linda’s blog has been updated to reflect the drowning version.
“…OK, let me apologize properly. CU students, I’m very sorry. Your friend drowned, he didn’t commit suicide. I was misinformed. Forgive me,” the blogger begged.

UNBELIEVABLE! CBN Spent N2.8billion To Renovate Just One Building
The Public Accounts Committee of the House of Representatives on Tuesday queried several expenditure incurred by the Central Bank of Nigeria totalling N4.7bn, especially the renovation of its Port Harcourt branch with a whooping N2.8bn.
How much does it cost to erect a new building that CBN spent N2.8billion to renovate?
The committee, which is considering audit queries raised by the Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation, said the bank had yet to offer convincing explanations on how the “huge expenditure was incurred.”
At a session with officials of the bank in Abuja, the Chairman of the committee, Hon. Solomon Olamilekan, cited the N2.8bn the bank claimed to have spent on the renovation of its Port Harcourt branch as one example of the EXTRAVAGANT expenditures.
Hon. Olamilekan said the expenditures were incurred without documents to support them and “giving indication that due process was not followed.” The committee has therefore giving the bank a 48-hour ultimatum to produce documents to defend the spending.
Another N23m was reportedly spent on the renovation of the residence of the governor of the bank, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, while a separate N50m was quoted for the same purpose. Total N73million.
The committee said if the CBN fail to produce evidences, it would recommend the refund of the money spent into the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation.

What My Husband Told Me Before His Death – Turai Yar’Adua
Hajiya Turai Umaru Musa Yar’adua has revealed how her husband, former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua once told her that his relatives would quarrel with her after his death as they would think he had left so much money.
The former first lady who spoke at a memorial lecture in honour of the late president in Katsina at the weekend, also said “the late Yar’adua was not a materialist leader who believed in accumulating wealth. In fact, he shunned material things as his slogan was service to humanity.
“There was a time he said to me that ‘Turai, I pity you because when I die you will have quarrels with my relatives because they will think I have so much money in my possession”, she said.
She said the situation in Nigeria would have been better had the late president survived his ailment because he was a “focused, committed and determined leader”.
“Although my husband was sick for a long time he did his very best for Nigeria. Also as governor of Katsina State, he did his best for the state; he is an honest man who believed in service”, she said.
Extolling his virtues as a leader, Turai said the late President would not give out contract without having the money to pay for it.
“There was a time I approached him that people are complaining that the government was slow. But he said to me people can say whatever they like but I will not give out contract if I have no money to pay.
“The late Umaru was a kind of leader that would go out and monitor projects. I could recall when I used to join him to supervise the projects at Umaru Musa ‘Yar’adua University, Turai ‘Yar’adua Hospital and the roads,” she said.
