Press Press Baby!!!

This piece is from a good relationship councellor... JEROME YAOVI ONIPEDE... I love eeet and just have to share... Enjoy!

Most of the time when you date your next door neighbour, it can be a case of Sharp Guy JAM Babe that comes EASY.

He doesn't have to chase you, YOU ARE JUST THERE FOR CONVENIENT USE! He appears nice and cool, studies you, schemes, and throws some bait at you, and most times it works. From borrowing him frying pan to pots, you won't know how you end up cooking for him. Then spending the night in his apartment instead of yours warming his bed which other girls apart from you warm too. He knows you are TODAY'S GIRL, and one quality she has is "CHEAP", she is very cheap, and easy to have her open her legs for different sizes of Penises, diseases and Viruses to come into her. TODAY'S GIRL can be so cheap, that she reminds you of a Dog who first comes Charging at you like a Bull, but then, because the guy knows what he wants he cools down and the Dog becomes at ease in his presence while he strokes the head of the dog, until the Dog is given poison to eat, his master's house burgled, and with so much damage done. GOD ALWAYS HAS A MAN FOR EVERY WOMAN

Hey y'all been long time i posted stuff on here......anyways here is a nice piece written by Jerome Onipede. Assimilate it!

It was late in the night when I got her call, I usually don’t check the time to see how late a call was coming in for me, but I had to check because the voice on the phone was like that of a Teenager, and I was wondering what could have gone wrong. I have had young people call me just to seek for help when their parents are about to get a divorce and they want a counsellor to speak with them or text messages like I got from one which read “Good Morning sir. Please my Mum is going through a lot and needs counselling It’s still all about my Dad. Help us sir. God bless”. Lots of Children in Nigeria now are carrying the burdens of irresponsible and selfish parents who think about nothing, but themselves alone. Some of these children react/rebel by losing interest in their studies lose interest in God, find solace in alcohol, drugs or sex, and a lot of them have lost interest in values that promote love and commitment. But then before I take you too far into all that, the caller wasn’t a teenager, she just had a tiny inquisitive teenage voice. She actually was much of an adult when I met her. Was I relieved to know it was not another teenager carrying the unfinished business of self centered parents in his/her young life?  Continue Reading....

On Malala's Visit To Nigeria!

When i saw the news that the girls' education campaigner Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by pakistani Taliban, arrived in  Nigeria for safe schools initiative campaign, i keep asking myself the question: Can Malala help in the rescue of Chibok girls? Why did she choose to make this visit after 90 days of the abduction? Who is hosting her: the federal Government or #Bringbackourgirls Campaigners? The Israeli and United states military experts that are here in Nigeria to help the Nigerian Military rescue the schoolgirls have not yielded any positive results so far.
I even fear for Malala's safety, given the security situation in the country. I can say that her life is also in danger as the Federal Government is insincere in solving the problem of insecurity the country is facing.

Malala's visit was a move by the federal Government to boost its image over the abduction Saga, but the #Bringbackourgirls campaigners are planning to use the visit to emphasize and show the world how the FG has failed to rescue the girls. The visit, to me, is of no use as it would not make any impact. The issue of Malala's safe school initiative is not our concern. Let the Nigerian Security agencies do their job and rescue the girls. The arrival of the US and Israeli military intelligence officers is much of concern too. The government should stop politicising this matter; our concern is to see the girls back. BringBackOurGirls Campaigners have done their best despite the threat they have been facing from security agencies. They have spent two-and-half months campaigning with their own money; their effort is commendable.

The hosting of Malala, and sponsoring of her safe school initiative campaign by the Nigerian government, is condemnable and is regarded as a waste of public fund. The right people deserving government's attention in their campaign are the #BringBackOurGirls campaigners. I PRAY THAT THOSE GIRLS BE RESCUED IN GOOD CONDITION AND RETURNED TO THEIR PARENTS SAFELY. May those who have hand in the bombings, killings and abductions in Nigeria never have peace in their minds. May God destroy them and make peace to reign in our dear country........  Please join the Banter......

Meet The real-life goddesses whose feet don't touch the ground: Inside the bizarre world of Nepalese child deities who live in temples and are forbidden from WALKING until they reach puberty.

The 'living goddesses' are chosen as infants and adored by thousands of Hindus and Buddhists until menstruation.
The Kumaris are an incarnation of the goddess Kali and are seen as protectors from evil and a bestower of good luck.
The young girls are sheltered away - and cannot go to school - until they are required at festivals and processions.
In most communities around the world, goddesses are symbolic of a spiritual world. But in Nepal, these sacred females live and breathe.
Handpicked from birth, these pre-pubescent girls are known as Kumaris and are believed to be incarnations of the Hindu Goddess of Power, Kali.
From the moment they are chosen for their role, and pass a rigorous 32-stage test, these living goddesses are propelled to immortal-like status, deemed to be protectors from evil by thousands of adoring Hindus and Buddhists.
But for these girls, it is not just a name and status that they are given - their whole life changes.
Kumaris - which means virgin in Nepalese - are forced to leave their homes and are hidden away in temples as a living deity, only able to leave when they are required at festivals and processions as the subject of worship.
These Kumaris are even considered too special to walk, instead being carried in chariots, thrones and other people's arms - sometimes meaning they do not learn to walk until they retire.
And the girls are banned from going to school or taking part in day-to-day society, only appearing outside their homes or temples up to 13 times a year.
But once they reach puberty, everything changes for these Kumaris. After menstruation starts, the girls are put through a 12-day 'Gufa' ritual, after which their life as a Kumari ends - and they return to an ordinary life that they have never known. See more photos...

Homeless to Howard: James Ward Raises Money Online to Attend College

James Ward

Place of Residence: Los Angeles, Calif.

Why He’s a Game Changer: Ward, whose family faced homelessness, was able to crowd source the $12,000 he needed to attend Howard University this fall.

Ward, 19, and his family have dealt with homelessness for four years, bouncing between shelters and the street in L.A.’s Skid Row. Jessica Sutherland, (pictured with Ward below) a digital media producer who had also been homeless as a child, found out that Ward had been accepted to Howard and had received scholarships but still need $12,000 to cover costs for a full year.
A tightening of the guidelines to Parent PLUS loans have hurt students at many historically black colleges and universities. Ward’s loan was denied three weeks before he was set to leave for Howard. Continue reading...

'Fingers must just get in the way': Incredible jewellery designed and crafted by woman who was born without digits on her hands

A talented jeweller whose creations sell for thousands of pounds has told how she manages to create her intricate ornaments despite having no fingers.
Annette Gabbedey, 48, creates delicate rings, earrings and bracelets, inset with with diamonds, opals and other precious stones in her workshop in Frome, Somerset.
But the expert goldsmith, who was born without fingers, uses no special tools to help her work and says she cannot imagine how people with fingers manage to do it.

Mrs Gabbedey, who says she was always encouraged by her family to 'get out there and sort it out', studied jewellery-making at school and college before training amongst the jewellery experts of London's Hatton Garden.
She moved to Somerset 24 years ago, and now has a reputation as one of Britain's finest craftsmen and opal specialists.
She said: 'It is just your own perception of how you look at yourself, and for me I was born like it, so I have never known anything different.............continue reading and see more photos....

I STARTED LAUNDRY BUSINESS WITH BUCKET AND WASH

Having read this, i had hope that many other Nigerians living in abject poverty can still survive one way or the other......

Dry cleaning and laundry business sprang up to offer services to those who might be too busy to take care of their clothings or to relieve them of the stress involved in washing thereby paying for the service rendered by those who have found it a lucrative venture.
The business is a viable income and job generating venture which generates returns of over 100 percent on investment and involves little capital to start.
It is in light of this that some people have ventured into the business to render services to people. The business is a thriving one especially in the urban centres where most people do not have much time to do their washing by themselves.
Laundry and dry cleaning service is simply washing of clothing materials, ironing and proper packaging for people who need the services.
Mrs. Rose Kalu Awa, who operates a dry cleaning and laundry outfit in EFAB Estate, Abuja, said she has been in the business for the past five years and there is no looking back for her.
Her outfit, Sommy Wash Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services, though started with N13, 000 in 2008 now has a workshop in EFAB and a collection center in Utako. She said that she started with a small capital with which she bought a bucket, one pressing iron, detergent, starch, tablet soap and somebody gave her a table to use...continue reading!

Planning ahead for the New Year

Hip hip hurray, it’s the New Year. Three hundred and sixty-five days, five hundred and twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes and thirty-one million, five hundred and thirty-six thousand seconds gone by just like that. It is a time to start afresh and set new goals especially financial goals. At this particular time of the year many people begin to make New Year’s resolutions, however many of these resolutions are just wishes that never become reality. Worse still many of these do not relate to personal or business finance issues. It is not enough to just say I would get out of debt in 2014 or I would give more to charity. How do you intend to make this a reality?  It is therefore not enough to just make resolutions instead it is more profitable to set goals. You may ask, what is the difference between a resolution and a goal? According to the Oxford Dictionary, resolution can be defined as “a firm decision to do or not to do something”, whilst according to the Business Dictionary “a goal is an observable and measurable end result having one or more objectives to be achieved within a more or less fixed time frame”. Essentially a goal must be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic/Relevant and Time bound). As 2014 commences, it is a time to Reflect, Refocus and Review...... continue reading

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME : Birthday Prayer!

Hello y'all join Ur prayers with mine and thank Baba God for making me see another day like this... I've always been thankful to Him... i remember when i was growing up, AT SOME POINT,  i usually celebrated my birthday on the 22nd of November instead of 21st of November, or sometimes i celebrated it on the actual day 21st, i was confused about my birthday, this happuned especially when i was in school or alone with my dad(GOd rest his soul)...... my dad didnt even remember whether it was 21st or 22nd.... this continued untill i did my First Holy Communion, my sponsor (aunt Bridget) told me that it was on the 21st not 22nd. i smiled sheepishly and shook my head.....so since that day it got stuck in my head that it was 21st.

If i start to write about the many stories ive encountered on my past birthdays, you will laugh......but anyways no time at all for that.....Another Birthday is here, so i will Thank God and ask Him for His abundant blessings, why dont you join me? ;

Thank you, God, for giving me another year of life.
Thank you for all the people who remembered me today
by sending cards, and letters, gifts and good wishes.

Thank you for all the experience of this past year;
for times of success which will always be happy memories,
for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need for you,
for times of joy when the sun was shining,
for times of sadness which drove me to you.

Forgive me
for the hours I wasted,
for the chances I failed to take,
for the opportunities I missed this past year.
Help me in the days ahead to make this the best year yet,
and through it to bring good credit to myself,
happiness and pride to my loved ones,
and joy to you. Amen.

Did i hear somebody say amen? oh ok
